I learn something new everyday!
As the planet Earth spins around, it presses against something called a Heaviside layer. Which, according to “The Free Dictionary” is a region of the ionosphere (from 50 to 90 miles up) that reflects radio waves of medium length and an ionosphere is the outer region of the Earth’s atmosphere that contains a high concentration of free electrons.
Well, that layer helps make electricity or static electricity in the air.
Light is electrical in nature, it does not become light until it becomes infused with electric energy.
Maybe you knew that. I had never heard of the Heaviside Layer before today.
