About

Welcome to Pressing Refresh.

I hear it’s a good thing to stay focused on a topic. It’s just not in me. I can’t do it. I’m interested in too many things.

There are three of us, and this blog will reflect each of our interests. We tend flit and fly, change, lose interest, or become over obsessed with some! That said, anything goes.

It’s hard to deny these are tough times for many of us. Add to that the crazy weather, politics and corruption.

But we still have to keep on, keeping on, come what may.

I might as well get one thing out of the way:

I believe every person has the right to live their life any way they want. I don’t care what race, creed or political stripe you are. I don’t care if you are vegan or if you eat meat, watch tv or not. These (to me) are just things that divide us and take the focus off the many more important things that are going on in this world. I can’t even decide what I believe in anymore. Change my mind all the time. The only thing I have decided is that if you are not harming other people or the planet, good for you! Whatever gets us through life, gets us through it. I have my opinions, make my own choices, you make yours. I have my issues, you have yours.

I don’t agree with all websites or people I will talk about here, but they still make me think and question. That’s a good thing. When we can no longer question/ask/talk about, we no longer live in a democratic society. When our right to want answers, to be heard, to expect transparency from the people taking our money to run our country are regarded as suspect behavior, we lose our so-called freedom.

It’s hard for me to stay positive, I will try my best. No promises. Being negative never helps anything or anyone, holding things in isn’t good. There has to be a middle ground. Still searching….

Feel free to reblog and share the information here except for my personal photographs of people or for commercial purposes.

badge1

I’d also like to explain why I chose to make this badge. I have very few people that I read enough to feel comfortable in passing on awards and memes. I can’t keep sending them to the same people without feeling as though I am constantly making them feel obligated to participate. I also have a hard time coming up with answers to all the questions. Especially when I get a bunch of them at once.

I hope not to offend anyone by making this choice. Feel free to use the badge I made on your site if you would like.

Great post… I will follow to see what else keeps you ticking… Since you like making crafts, why not find a flea market to sell them through? Not my business, though. Stay positive!

Haha! Don’t know whether you want to know what keeps me ticking. 😉 A flea market sounds like a good idea. I do my best to stay positive, in between ruts.. Had a glance at your site last night. It was getting late, will be back today. I did see that massive pumpkin! Wow! Thanks for dropping by. 🙂

It is weird how they can grow such HUGE pumpkins in the northeast when they have a later spring than even Missouri!
